The year has just started and I’ve already done way too much maths. The Asian life is real guys. Anyways, I’ve had some time to reflect on what I really want to do in 2016 both blog related and personal. I didn’t know what to put for graphics so you’re all treated to some random gifs 😀
For the blog:
1. Redesign the blog
This blog hasn’t changed much since it was first made so I think it’s time. I’m still not quite sure what I should do thought… any suggestions or experiences?
2.Write more discussion/non review posts that aren’t tags
I have a problem and that problem is book tags. They’re just so fun to do and so easy and so effortless. This year, I’m making it harder for myself but hopefully some quality content will be the product. Or maybe not so quality content XD
3. SOCIALISE
I am such an awkward person, online and off, but I’m going to try this year to reach out to other bloggers more, participate in more bookish things. What are some of your favourite book blog events?
4. Come up with a review format I actually like
Writing reviews is annoying. For me, they’re the least viewed posts on the blog but they are the most time consuming and least fun to write. I’ve experimented last year with different formats, mostly letter writing, but they weren’t something I could do for every book.
For reading and bookish stuff:
1. Read less contemporary
Basically read something other than my typical YA contemporaries which I have read way too much of in 2015.
2. Make a bookish Instagram
Because aesthetics.
3. Find some book merch
This is much harder than it sounds because I live in Australia, the country where shipping fees are more than the product price.
For myself:
1. Watch more movies, less Youtube
2015 flew by and I barely got to watch any of the movies it gave us because of my Youtube addiction and my rekindled love for Dan and Phil. Pledging this year to watch more movies.
2. Study better
I’m graduating high school next year… NEXT YEAR. How did that happen??? I need to get my school act together! I had this moment when I was reading this book and the girl was 15. I’m almost 16 now and that just makes me feel like I’ve done nothing. Before you know it, I’ll be sprawled on a chair talking about the days of Facebook and Youtube. Well, that’s me now but you get what I mean!
2016 goals sorted! Now I just need to actually do them… most of them 😉
This is a pretty comprehensive list of goals. Good luck with them!!!

So glad to hear I’m not the only one reading too many contemporaries. But I love them so much, ahah 🙂 Good luck with all of your goals 😀
