Fangirling: CW’s Star-Crossed

Ok, I just have to have somewhere to fangirl about this show. You might have or might not have heard. CW has a new drama, Star- Crossed. It actually sounds pretty good. To those who haven’t heard of it, don’t worry. Here’s a quick breakdown of the show.

Isn’t that the coolest premise you’ve ever heard? It sounds like a book come to life. I need this show. It’s got a great plot, a great sounding romance and a hot guy. I mean seriously, I could get use to that 😀 Right now I’m looking a lot like this:

Actually it’s more like:

Author: Prima

Still crazy obsessed with High School Musical and is still disappointed real life high school did not involved as much singing and dancing. Almost 18 but relates to 5 year olds. Super cynical about Disney movies and kdramas but still loves them. Blogs about books and feels.

  1. I have to admit that I looked it up and was really surprised that it wasn’t based on a book. I really enjoyed the pilot. I wasn’t sure because I’d always thought the actor playing Roman was going to be too old (I considered him to be old as a teenager five years ago in 90210) but it made it work for me. And I liked Aimee Teegarden too. She’s different from how she was in Friday Night Lights and I thought that was great.

Can’t wait till the next episode!

    1. I’m torn between loving the pilot and just raging at it. There were some really good parts and some that were just so cliched I was laughing. I totally agree that Matt Lanter looks too old as Roman though, but he’s probably the character I liked the most from the pilot. Aimee Teegarden… hmmm I think I’ll have to watch her a bit more to like her.
